Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead and manage the full recruitment cycle for the company, ensuring that the organization attracts and hires top talent at all levels—from skilled operators and laborers to senior leadership. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining a high-performing workforce, partnering with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Develops and executes effective recruitment strategies to attract candidates across all levels of the construction workforce, including operators, skilled trades, project managers, and executive leadership.
- Collaborates with department heads and senior leadership to understand current and future staffing needs and job requirements.
- Designs and implements recruitment campaigns, including leveraging online job boards, social media platforms, industry events, and talent pools.
- Monitors industry trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly to ensure a competitive edge in talent acquisition.
- Manages the full recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offering, and onboarding candidates.
- Creates compelling job postings, advertisements, and job descriptions for a wide variety of construction-related roles.
- Sources, identifies, and screens qualified candidates through online platforms, networking, and industry-specific job fairs.
- Conducts interviews, assesses qualifications, and manages candidate selection while maintaining a high level of candidate experience.
- Facilitates the offer process, ensuring proper negotiation and alignment with compensation structures.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry professionals, including construction trade workers, engineers, project managers, and executives.
- Leverage platforms like LinkedIn, industry-specific job boards, and professional associations to source and engage top talent.
- Works with marketing and HR to develop and enhance the company’s employer brand, ensuring that the company is seen as an attractive workplace for all levels of talent.
- Promotes the company culture and core values through recruitment materials, job postings, and interviews
- Partners with hiring managers across all departments to define job requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines.
- Regularly updates hiring managers on candidate progress and provide feedback on interviews, selection decisions, and the talent market.
- Provides regular reports to senior leadership on recruitment performance, key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire), and areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment. Experience recruiting for both blue-collar and white-collar positions is essential.- Expertise in full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and closing candidates.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software (e.g., Paylocity) as well as job boards and social media platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage candidates and hiring managers effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions, deadlines, and recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
- Ability to track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to improve the hiring process and drive better results.
