Sustaining & Regulatory Compliance Engineer Manager Location: 2001 Timberloch Place, Suite 350, The Woodlands, TX 77380 with partial telecommuting – must be in the office minimum 4 days a week.
Number of Openings: 1 Responsibilities Oversee and manage the team responsible for operations sustaining engineering, which includes the identification, research, manufacture, and implementation of engineering functions with a focus on supporting ongoing hydraulic fracturing field operations. Oversee detailed equipment failure root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations on fracturing equipment. Utilizing experience with direct drive turbine fracturing operations and emissions reduction science, manage the team responsible for engineered solutions for fracturing equipment based upon findings from root cause failure analysis including engineering design, modeling, drafting, cost analysis, and performance evaluation. Ensure compliance with all company quality, health, safety, and environment procedures. Oversee the use of existing equipment databases to identify operational and equipment inefficiencies, predict equipment failures, and improve maintenance procedures. Manage 3rd-party vendors with solutions, production, and implementation of design change requests (DCR) and non-conformance requests (NCR) reports. Oversee the development of software and data tools including data analytics and artificial intelligence to support ongoing operations to identify operational and equipment inefficiencies, predict equipment failures, and improve maintenance procedures. Direct the analysis of existing equipment operational data with the focus on improving equipment efficiency and performance. Oversee real-time monitoring of well servicing activity supporting engineering and formation of fracturing for failure analysis. Identify, measure, and direct predictive and preventative improvements for equipment design and maintenance program. Provide subject matter expertise on TITAN Direct Drive equipment and operational control/communication software. Oversee the preparation and review of design change requests (DCR) and non-conformance requests (NCR) reports. Evaluate DCRs and NCRs to ensure they meet business goals and objectives. Ensure procedural compliance with internal policy for DCR and NCR processes. Perform and review technical engineering analyses carried out by direct reports, as well as design modeling and drafting on approved DCRs and NCRs. Direct the implementation of engineering solutions including managing source material, scheduling equipment fabrication, scheduling maintenance, and performing technical reviews to evaluate solutions’ implementation and performance. Ensure subordinate staff are properly monitoring equipment through entire life cycle to ensure minimum design specifications are maintained and identify opportunities for performance, efficiency, and operational enhancements. Evaluate the safety of operations, create strategies to minimize workplace hazards, and recommend new tools, software, or equipment. Requirements* Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
