Summary: The Regulatory Compliance Technician reports to the Engineering Manager and completes all testing, inspection, and documentation of equipment for compliance with applicable ANSI Standards, UL, ETL, NSF, CE, and other standards required by international nations. Quality checks all electrical drawings created/and or revised by electrical engineer and outside contractors for compliance.
Essential Job Duties
•Assists the Engineering Manager in directing the electrical engineering staff and contributes to performance reviews of the electrical engineering staff. • Checks electrical engineering drawings and production packages for correctness and completeness prior to release
•Train electrical engineer as his back-up for regulatory compliance
•Document the testing of components and procedures by serial number of equipment
•Update necessary lists to insure parts and components meet all requirements
•Maintain test equipment in good working order and keep calibrations and certifications current
•Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and solve electrical malfunctions, and insure wiring is correct to the schematics, program inverters and program temperature controllers
•Operate test equipment related to combustion emissions and electrical integrity

•CB-SCHEME (Conformity Assessment Schemes fo Electrotechnical Equipment and Components)
•NEC (national electric code)
Are you experience with the following tools to perform machine assessments?
•Finger tester (for electrical) and accessible to injury
