Position Summary: The Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of company audits and maintaining compliance for certifications.
Job Duties:
•
Provide leadership in maintaining the current AS9100D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and NADCAP quality systems
•
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to customer specifications; customer interaction
•
Be a change agent and identify possible risks within NAECO, drive appropriate actions to alleviate risk
•
Provides inspection activity for products throughout production cycle; Use of calipers, optical comparator, thread gages, and other inspection equipment to inspect machined parts; Calibrate all instruments as scheduled
•
Designs and implements quality control training programs in conjunction with managers
•
Issue and address internal and external corrective actions in a timely manner
•
Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department
•
Other duties as assigned that contribute to the success of NAECO
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred, particularly in Engineering or other technical field
•
1 - 3 years of related experience in manufacturing and/or manufacturing engineering
•
In depth knowledge of AS9001D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, NADCAP and other quality systems
•
Demonstrated experience with problem solving and process improvement
•
Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings
•
Must be detail oriented and disciplined
•
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•
Excellent organizational and follow up skills
•
Proficient knowledge of MS Word and Excel; ERP/MRP/SAP experience preferred (E-2 a plus)
•
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
