Position Summary: The Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of company audits and maintaining compliance for certifications.
Job Duties:
•Provide leadership in maintaining the current AS9100D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and NADCAP quality systems
•Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to customer specifications; customer interaction
•Be a change agent and identify possible risks within NAECO, drive appropriate actions to alleviate risk
•Provides inspection activity for products throughout production cycle; Use of calipers, optical comparator, thread gages, and other inspection equipment to inspect machined parts; Calibrate all instruments as scheduled
•Designs and implements quality control training programs in conjunction with managers
•Issue and address internal and external corrective actions in a timely manner
•Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department
•Other duties as assigned that contribute to the success of NAECO
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred, particularly in Engineering or other technical field
•1 - 3 years of related experience in manufacturing and/or manufacturing engineering
•In depth knowledge of AS9001D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, NADCAP and other quality systems
•Demonstrated experience with problem solving and process improvement
•Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings
•Must be detail oriented and disciplined
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Excellent organizational and follow up skills
•Proficient knowledge of MS Word and Excel; ERP/MRP/SAP experience preferred (E-2 a plus)
•Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
