Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Party Chief based in Williston, ND. The Party Chief will be responsible for overseeing and managing survey activities, maintaining accurate field notes, and ensuring that all work complies with project specifications and industry standards. The role involves coordinating with clients and team members, reviewing projects for compliance, and troubleshooting field issues as they arise. The Party Chief will also ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and used efficiently to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of surveying methods, practices, and instruments, including GPS equipment operation

- Experience in field measurements, boundary analysis, and topographic mapping

- Proficiency in using CAD software, GIS systems, and other relevant technical tools

- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and coordinate field teams

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and address project challenges

- Understanding of construction standards, safety protocols, and compliance guidelines

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel as needed

- LSIT and Part 107 certifications are preferred.

- Prior experience in the oil and energy sector is highly preferred
