Crew Chief – Job Description

This position will work on projects in Colorado and Wyoming.

The Crew Chief is responsible for leading field survey crews and performing construction staking for civil and energy development projects. This role requires strong technical surveying skills, the ability to manage field data, and coordination with project management teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Survey Crew Chief.

- Proficient in construction staking for civil infrastructure and energy development projects.

- Skilled in the use of Trimble GPS equipment, data collectors, and total stations.

- Ability to calculate grades, manage field data, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

- Coordinate with project managers and office staff to ensure project accuracy and timelines are met.

- Maintain a strong understanding of construction project workflows and field operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of leading field operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
