As a Supply Chain Specialist III, you will support project and operational activities by coordinating the safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials and equipment. This role partners with suppliers, carriers, QA/QC, and project teams to execute shipments, manage documentation, and ensure materials meet schedule and quality requirements.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Performs multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Supports procurement processes
- Handles requisition traffic and procures quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures
- Coordinates communication between internal customers and vendors
- Facilitates the resolution of disputes and claims
- Supervises required inspections, expediting and logistics support
- Analyzes and reports on market conditions and identifies competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinates and facilitates pre-competitive meetings and provides input to bid awards
- Plans, schedules, and executes transportation activities for materials, fabricated equipment, and critical project components, coordinating with internal teams and third‑party carriers to ensure appropriate equipment selection, routing, and delivery timelines
- Issues Release to Ship notifications and verify supplier shipping readiness, including packing slips, material test reports, inspection documentation, and compliance with shipping prerequisites
- Tracks shipments from pickup through delivery, proactively resolving delays, routing changes, carrier issues, and supporting oversize and overweight haul coordination, including site access and special handling requirements
- Communicates shipping requirements and documentation expectations to suppliers and carriers; reviews carrier qualifications, insurance, and safety requirements; and coordinates RFQs for transportation services to support cost‑competitive carrier selection
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High School diploma/GED and a minimum four (4) years' experience
- Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Deep knowledge in logistics, domestic and international
, Coordinates bid package preparation with support of project/operations managers and key technical personnel with respect to supplier qualifications, soliciting and analyzing proposals and strategies for negotiation. Apply fundamental judgment and evaluation to support our procurement processes while building and maintaining internal customer and vendor relationships to meet business needs. Ensures execution of supply chain processes, including resolutions of disputes and claims.
