Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage the full procurement lifecycle with a strong focus on manufacturing and plant operations. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services critical to production and facility needs.
The ideal candidate brings advanced analytical capabilities, deep knowledge of manufacturing procurement, strong vendor negotiation and communication skills, and hands-on experience working within an ERP system (SAP preferred). This position partners closely with plant leadership, operations, maintenance, and finance to ensure procurement strategies support production goals, cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and operational needs
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management
- Lead category management initiatives to optimize spend, supplier selection, and purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to support production planning and material availability
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors while maintaining quality and service standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication and performance management
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and address non-conformance or delivery issues
- Perform root cause analysis on procurement, supply chain, or delivery challenges and implement corrective actions
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Utilize ERP and procurement systems to track purchases, analyze spend, and report performance metrics- 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Manufacturing and plant operations experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience in a procurement or supply chain leadership role

- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively while balancing cost savings, quality, and supplier relationships
- Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in an ERP system; SAP experience preferred
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
