Manages materials planning, requisitioning, materials control, and warehouse functions and employees. Typically manages in multiple or very large locations.
- Champion service quality, health, safety, environmental policies.
- Develop Material Plans to support business objectives including customer service, on-time delivery, inventory turns, cost, etc. for respective area.
- Work with Corporate Supply Chain to identify and establish long-term strategic relationships with critical suppliers.
- Ensure lowest total cost by compliance with preferred supplier agreements.
- Establish regional price agreements and contracts.
- Sourcing and procurement to minimize equipment downtime.
- Regularly review and action open supply chain resolution issues to minimize delays in work order closures or invoice payments.
- Optimize inventory holdings to reduce slow moving inventory and minimize or reduce stock outs.
- Regularly execute plans for slow-moving inventory disposal/investment recovery.
- Develop, implement and maintain an accurate physical inventory and cycle count program. Ensure material control throughout multiple manned and unmanned facilities.
- Optimize routes to improve delivery timing and minimize drive time, fuel and wear and tear on company vehicles.
- Work with Corporate Supply Chain to implement operational standards and processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Independently identify and work with Corporate Supply Chain to develop new processes to improve efficiency across the Supply Chain organization.
- Work with business to understand overall business plan and priorities.
- Review and analyze supply chain activity reports and metrics and determine/execute appropriate mitigation actions with a sense of urgency.
- Manage supply chain performance to established KPI's in respective area and drive targeted improvement plans.
- Work with other departments to communicate supplier performance issues and develop improvement plans.
- Participate in periodic business unit and corporate supply chain management reviews of supply chain performance and improvements.
- Manage annual budget.
- Develop, implement, manage and communicate work standards and performance metrics for assigned team.
- Responsible for employee hiring, performance management and development.
- On board new employees and assess competency and training needs of team members. Develop training plans for all team members and ensure that training is provided.
- Coordinate schedule and set priorities to ensure task completion and minimize overtime.
- Include business partner feedback in the objectives and direction setting for the function. Effectively communicate progress against objectives with key stakeholders.
Manage all resources (personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, funds and reputation) for assigned Business Units.

- Good understanding of all Supply Chain functions (Planning, Source to Pay, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Inbound and outbound logistics)
- General knowledge of shop and/or field operations in the gas compression industry
Thorough knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations.
- College degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the supply chain function with minimum of 5 years of management role.
