Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager ensures rig operations across the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and international regions (Brazil, Angola, and others) are fully supported through compliant, efficient, and timely procurement and logistics services. This position plays a key leadership role in Seadrill’s rig-centric center-led supply chain model, focusing on rapid fulfillment, cost control, and supplier performance to minimize downtime and support operational excellence.
The Supply Chain Manager – Rig Operations (Americas), is a pivotal leadership role ensuring seamless supply chain support for Seadrill’s operations in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and international regions such as Brazil and Angola. You’ll drive performance through timely procurement, efficient logistics, and strong supplier relationships — minimizing downtime and enabling operational success.
Job Specific Responsibilities
•Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and delivery to offshore rigs.
•Oversee last-mile delivery logistics and coordinate with freight forwarders and local agents to ensure timely offshore deliveries.
•Serve as the primary liaison to Rig Managers and Operations for all supply chain matters, resolving issues proactively.
•Define and monitor KPIs such as On Time Delivery (OTD), procurement cycle time, and vendor compliance to drive performance and accountability.
•Implement and manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) with internal customers and suppliers to ensure service expectations are met.
•Ensure all procurement activities adhere to Seadrill policies, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX[JW1]), and industry standards.
•Support digital transformation efforts, including ERP system optimization and automation.
•Drive continuous cost savings, value engineering, and vendor performance improvement initiatives.
•Champion Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)[JW2] aligned procurement strategies including ethical sourcing and Scope 3 emission tracking.
•Manage and coach a high-performing team, promoting a culture of safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
•Lead resolution of escalated supply chain issues and ensure learnings are captured and embedded.
End-to-End Supply Chain Leadership
• Oversee full supply chain scope — planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and delivery to offshore rigs.
•Ensure on-time last-mile deliveries in coordination with freight forwarders, agents, and logistics partners.
•Proactively resolve operational supply chain issues in collaboration with Rig Managers and Operations.
Performance Management & Optimization
• Define and monitor KPIs (OTIF, cycle time, vendor compliance) to drive operational excellence.
•Implement and manage SLAs with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
•Lead initiatives focused on cost savings, value engineering, and vendor performance improvement.
Team Leadership
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
•Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
•Act as escalation point for critical issues, ensuring resolution and institutional learning.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 8–10 years of experience in Supply Chain, with emphasis on procurement and (Procurement-t0-Pay)
•5+ years leading and developing supply chain teams in a global matrixed organization.
•Experience in oilfield services, drilling, highly preferred.
•Demonstrated track record in supply chain optimization and transformation programs.
•Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education And Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required.
•8–10 years of experience in Supply Chain, with emphasis on procurement and (Procurement-t0-Pay)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
