ECF Engineering Consultants is a full-service engineering firm that specializes in providing technical solutions to the Energy Markets and the public and private sectors, all of which require electrical and mechanical engineering support.
We serve those entities across a range of projects, offering consultation on technology utilization, design solutions for electrical, mechanical, and public health systems, and equipment procurement and construction-phase services.
As a Design intern at ECF, you will gain experience with the project design process, Substations, and Relay Protection and control.
You will be responsible for assisting design engineers with any tasks that they may need assistance with, including, but not limited to, some light drafting. You will gain experience with drafting standards, project release procedures, and the software we use to process the projects (MicroStation and AutoCAD).
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Must be at least a rising high school senior or attend an accredited college/university.
- Candidates should be planning to seek or be currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems
- Candidates must have the ability to work in a standard office setting and operate standard office equipment, including a computer.
- Should have effective communication skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
- Possess basic skills in Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, Virtual Machine, AutoCAD, or PUR programs is a plus.
