Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Substation Electrician Journeyman for a full-time, on-site position in Sioux City, IA. In this role, you will perform tasks such as installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and substation equipment. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting electrical systems and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of substation facilities. The ideal candidate will adhere to safety protocols and work collaboratively with a skilled team of professionals.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Work

- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems and equipment

- Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues

- Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and their application in substation systems

- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry regulations

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work on-site in Sioux City, IA

- Completion of a certified electrician program or relevant technical training
