Note: The application deadline for this position is January 5, 2026. What You’ll Do

- Perform routine analytical analyses on petroleum, gas, and wastewater samples

- Assist the team in advancing ongoing projects and supporting research initiatives

- Help investigate ASTM method alignment for laboratory processes.

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance

- Document and report result clearly and promptly

- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project timeline

Who You Are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

- Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)

- Available to begin work in May 2026

Education

- Must be enrolled in a Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology or Chemistry Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term

- Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities
