Fitters must be able to understand and execute blueprints, perform layouts, and operate cutting equipment proficiently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

· MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

· Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test

· Possess strong experience in reading fabrication drawings, dimensions and tolerances

· Use of basic shop math to assist in all aspects of the job

· Must have experience tack welding

· Must adhere to safety protocols

· Must be detail oriented, punctual, and a team player

· Must be able to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines and handle difficult situations as required

· Able to act on own initiative and work as part of a team consisting of members from other departments

Work Environment

This position works in a non-climate-controlled environment and may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures depending on weather conditions. The employee may occasionally be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and potential electrical shock hazards, requiring adherence to all safety protocols. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
