Expected salary range of $176,400 to $196,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Responsibilities:

Primary Purpose of Position

Engage with Constellation Business areas to develop and implement technology strategies to support Business Units near and long-term objectives. Partner with business clients and IT leadership in the development of strategic technology plans and investment strategies that meet the needs of the evolving business while leveraging or developing new standard enterprise architectural patterns. Collaborate with technology leaders across the Business, Digital and Enterprise IT teams to build solutions that create market differentiation opportunities for Constellation. Lead innovative efforts to identify emerging technology solutions and implement those which meet business requirements. Lead the creation of technology development standards and through collaboration with IT leadership ensure the adoption of these standards. Create and gain approval on business cases in support of the overall platform strategy. Participate in committees that guide product strategies. Participate in the overall leadership of Information Technology organization. Create and maintain strategic relationships with key IT vendors, tech partners and manage IT targeted vendor contracts that support targeted business segments.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

- Evaluate performance and provide coaching for IT personnel. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization.

- Provide input on development and retention processes

- Maintain strong relationships with business clients to ensure near and long term business objectives, strategies, and requirements are identified and understood. Participate in team forums that influence investment and technology strategy for Constellation's application and digital platforms.

- Partner with business clients and senior IT leaders to justify and prioritize strategic platform investments. Develop and gain approval for near and long term investment strategies and business plans, and track progress through implementation.

- Identify, establish, and enforce secure development and integration standards in collaboration with IT leaders as core technologies evolve.

- Recommend and support improvements to Constellation's Azure architectural patterns, application design principles, and data and AI development practices.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Science Engineer, Engineering Technology, etc)

- 10-years experience in leading and managing solutions teams for multiple business functions

- Experience and deep knowledge of energy sector business processes and objective development

- Hands-on development experience in application, data, or AI environments

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including services and tools such as Azure Databricks, Synapse, Fabric/Power BI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure OpenAI

- Experience architecting and developing large-scale data platforms, including data ingestion, curation/modeling, data product development, and data governance

- Experience architecting and developing advanced AI solutions, including machine learning, generative AI, and agentic or autonomous agentic AI

- Experience in the energy sector, including wholesale commodities, retail commodities/solutions, nuclear generation, and/or fossil or renewable generation

- Experience contributing to large-scale, technology-enabled transformation initiatives

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline
