This role will be based in our offices in

Lancaster, CA

. Daily commute is required. Working schedule: Monday through Friday, shift work, 7am - 3.30pm or 11am-7pm.

This is a supervisory & administrative position that includes both management of technicians and performance of office administrative duties. The person holding this position is responsible for the non technical duties on the site. Ensure technician training and procedures are up to date. Duties also include a) addressing personnel issues, b) concerns of the technicians, c) collaboration with other sites and d) Assisting with growth and leadership of the technicians.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Conduct all work activities in a professional, environmentally conscious, and safe manner.

- Assure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

- Ensure budget compliance and work with Manager on correcting budget variances.

- Forecast balance of year budget on a monthly, or as needed basis.

- Maintain and complete tactical processes in a team oriented, multi-discipline environment.

- Complete other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager.

- Ensure compliance with local contractual requirements, such as Complaint log filing, required publication of company information.

- Address landowner concerns as they arise.

- Ability to help technicians track time accurately

- Encourage safety, integrity and ownership that does not relay on force or manipulation.

- Champion technician development/advancement in Technician Level Advancement Program.

- Warehousing support (inventory, shipping & receiving, forklift operations, data entry).


Qualifications

Experience:

- 3 – 5 years’ related experience required working in a power plant environment preferred.

- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.

- Planning, organizational and good decision-making skills

- Capability to multi-task and prioritize work for the team.

- Ability to handle constantly changing and emerging work priorities & schedules.

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with various personality types desired.

- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and other computer-based efficiency tools.

- Forklift Operator

- CMMS (SAP)


Education:

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Associates Technical/Electronic Degree or minimum 3 years of work experience in electrical/electronic repair industry, mechanical field.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to optimally communicate and interact with diverse groups.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $75,000 and $90,100/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
