Slickline/Braided Line Truck Operator

This position is only for persons that have experience operating or running a slickline or braided line truck. If you are not familiar with selecting, running and redressing fishing and pulling tools, this is not the right job for you. If you are not a US Citizen or Green Card holder in the US. This position is not for your. There will be a wide assortment of standard and not-so-standard tasks that you'll be expected to complete. No task will be either above or beneath you.

Essential Functions:

- Operate, under normal conditions, the winch unit for running in and out of the hole; “zero” tools and monitor tension meter, cable speed, depth and spooling of cable; understand depth control and weight indicator systems, use all winch cable safety controls..

- Read and understand well files provided by E&P companies.

- Prepare well for service operation, install sheave wheel, thread cable, and connect multiple tools as required.

- Inspect, maintain, repair tools, service units, and associated equipment.

- Assist in servicing, maintaining, marking and changing cables.

- Build bridles and heads, and rope sockets.

- Maintain tools, shop and equipment in good condition and keep shop and work area in a clean and orderly condition.

- Safely drive and operate any transport vehicle and logging truck in the district.

- Teach proper assembly, disassembly, installation and maintenance of pressure control equipment, and attain appropriate pressure control certificate.

- Lead well site job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the district that affect client satisfaction.

- Comply with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures. Complete relevant safety training.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be able to lift a minimum of 150 lbs.

- Be able to work at heights exceeding 10 feet above ground level.

- Must be able to take direction well.

- Ability to multi-task and provide assistance when needed.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hard working environment.

- Be able to attain a CDL.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
