Helper (Slickline, ELine, Braided Line)

Drive a manual CDL wireline truck to location. Assist the operator in performing such duties as required in the servicing of oil and gas wells and the maintenance and repair of service units and tools. There will be a wide assortment of standard and not-so-standard tasks that you'll be expected to complete. No task will be either above or beneath you.

Essential Functions:

- Prepare well for service operation, install sheave wheel, thread cable, and connect multiple tools as required.

- Inspect, maintain, repair tools, service units, and associated equipment.

- Assist in servicing, maintaining, marking and changing cables.

- Build bridles and heads, and rope sockets.

- Maintain tools, shop and equipment in good condition and keep shop and work area in a clean and orderly condition.

- Safely drive and operate any transport vehicle and logging truck in the district.

- Learn proper assembly, disassembly, installation and maintenance of pressure control equipment, and attain appropriate pressure control certificate.

- Participate in well site job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the district that affect client satisfaction.

- Comply with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures. Complete relevant safety training.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be able to lift a minimum of 150 lbs.

- Be able to work at heights exceeding 10 feet above ground level.

- Must be able to take direction well.

- Ability to multi-task and provide assistance when needed.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hard working environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 90 per week
