As a Millwright, you would be expected to:
- Receive instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor
- Able to work Shut Down work at various locations throughout BC and AB
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and installation operations
- Work at elevations
- Layout, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
- Laser alignment of shaft coupling and bearings on pumps, motors, and drives
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Be able to work closely with the supervisor and trades
- Strong commitment to safety including personal safety and the safety of co-workers
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Have the ability to meet deadlines
- CWB certification will be considered an asset
- Must have Red Seal certification
- Fall Protection, Aerial workplace platform, Confined Space Entry and Monitoring and Respirator Fit Test, are requirements of this position. Note Fall Protection and Confined Space courses must be completed in person and not online.
- Ability to pass pre-access testing
- Ability to work days and nights
- Availability for short notice work and longer shifts

- Must have own mine ready truck
