Sales Associate ~ KOHLER Store – Portland, OR

KOHLER Signature Store in the Pearl District of Portland, OR, is looking for an additional full time sales consultant to join our team. Our current store hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday- Saturday. The Kohler Store provides an in person kitchen & bath experience where homeowners and the trade alike are guided through the process of creating a personalized dream space that begins with hands on selection of Kohler, Robern and Kallista products. You are sales focused, detailed, energetic and passionate, with a drive to succeed. You build relationships and understand how to provide a gracious customer experience!

The Sales Associate will be responsible for increasing sales volume and ensuring high customer service expectations. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Associate will have daily interaction with consumers, the design trade, contractors, distributors and Kohler Co. Corporate Departments. Training is provided. Looking for a detail oriented, customer focused, team player who wants to work with and learn from an experienced team of professionals in a beautiful environment.

Responsibilities:

- Drive sales to meet and exceed sales goals

- Provide high level of customer service

- Maintain a well organized environment

- Develop repeat business and strong industry relationships

- Follow up on leads, generate new business

- Provide friendly and prompt service

- Develop detailed knowledge of Kohler product lines and features

- Provide in home and in store design consultations

- Qualifications:

- Undergraduate/trade school/design education preferred or in progress OR the ability to demonstrate hands-on learning through experience.

- Min 2 years - Prior sales experience with proven success record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.

- Ability to work Saturday

- Must possess strong communication skills

- Candidate must have computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn Keller Supply’s business system.

- Prior high end retail or luxury sales experience

- Strong sales drive

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
