Shop Foreman (UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT)

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Foreman to join our team at Compass Services FSJ Ltd. In this role, you will oversee shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of safety and quality. Your leadership will be crucial in managing a team of mechanics and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily shop operations and manage a team of mechanics.

- Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with industry standards.

- Coordinate scheduling and workflow to meet project deadlines.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control on all repairs and services.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in automotive repair.

- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively.

- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.

- Red Seal Mechanic Certification

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
