Job Description:

As a Foreman at Cornerstone Construction Company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating construction activities on-site. Reporting directly to the Director of Construction, you will lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily construction activities, including scheduling, coordinating, and directing subcontractors and laborers.

- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards, maintaining high levels of quality and craftsmanship.

- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to verify work meets established standards and contractual requirements.

- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure efficient workflow.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and productivity.

- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and inventory logs.

- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and building codes.

- Assist in the hiring and training of construction personnel, ensuring the team is skilled and capable of meeting project demands.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial and residential construction projects.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.

- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and productivity.
