Job Title: Construction Foreman

Location: Moodie Drive Job Type: Full-time Reports To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. A foreman must have a solid background in the field and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Supervise and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors on site

•

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to meet job specifications

•

Monitor work progress to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations

•

Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly maintained

•

Assign duties and tasks to construction workers and tradespeople

•

Resolve conflicts or miscommunications that may occur on-site quickly and effectively

•

Report project status and issues to supervisors or project managers

•

Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols on the job site

•

Maintain timekeeping and personnel records

•

Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety compliance

Requirements:

•

Proven experience as a construction foreman or similar role

•

In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, tools, equipment, and safety guidelines

•

Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints

•

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

•

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

•

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus

•

OSHA certification preferred

•

Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment:

•

Outdoor construction sites

•

Exposure to noise, dust, and physical labor

•

May require evening or weekend work depending on project deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.31 per hour
