Job Title: Construction Foreman
Position Overview: The Construction Foreman leads a crew in performing structural remediation and repair work on utility infrastructure, including light poles, foundations, anchors, supports, and related assemblies. This role combines hands-on field work with leadership responsibilities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The Foreman works alongside the crew, directs daily tasks, and acts as the primary point of contact for field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Crew Leadership & Project Execution
+ Direct day-to-day operations of a field crew performing structural repairs and remediation on utility structures
+ Lead by example, working alongside crew to perform tasks such as grinding, painting, foundation restoration, structural reinforcement, and component replacement
+ Interpret and communicate project plans, work orders, and safety requirements
+ Coordinate job site logistics, equipment needs, material usage, and work sequencing
+ Communicate progress, issues, and changes with project managers and field management
+ Perform physical repairs
including:
- Grinding corrosion and preparing surfaces
- Applying protective coatings and industrial paint
- Excavating and repairing concrete or foundation defects
- Welding or bolting structural components (as applicable to certifications)
- Operate equipment such as trucks, lifts, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively
- Ensure accurate documentation of work completed, including photos and field reports
•Safety & Quality Control
+ Enforce all safety procedures and environmental regulations on-site
+ Lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks
+ Inspect work for quality and adherence to standards or engineering specifications
+ Identify potential hazards or issues and take corrective action
Requirements & Qualifications:
•3+ years of field construction experience, supervisory or lead role experience a plus
•Experience with structural remediation, concrete repair, surface preparation, and coatings preferred
•Working knowledge of utility structures and safety clearances
•Strong leadership and communication skills
•Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical specifications
•OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly
•Prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing
•Tolerance for working outdoors in varying weather conditions
•Use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment in physically demanding environments
•Comfortable working at heights and in proximity to utility equipment

Pay Scale: $27.00.00/hour
