The Shop Foreman will be responsible for managing the production of automation equipment, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage a team of shop assistants and shop technicians, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Supervise Production: Oversee the production of automation equipment, custom projects, building stands, and custom communication boxes.
•
Team Management: Directly manage and coordinate the activities of shop assistants and shop technicians, ensuring they clock in and out on time, complete their tasks, and submit reports.
•
Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications.
•
Safety: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment, conduct regular safety inspections, and address any safety concerns promptly.
•
Project Management: Coordinate and schedule production activities to meet deadlines and customer demands, especially in the context of high-demand rental operations.
•
Inventory Control: Communicate regularly with the Inventory Manager about inventory needs to ensure materials and equipment are available for ongoing projects.
•
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, employee performance, and safety incidents.
•
Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
