Shop Assistant

The Role:

Shop Assistants in our Manufacturing shop are foundational to the success of our company. Our proprietary technology is manufactured and assembled with utmost precision, ensuring that each module and various equipment meets our high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

- All shop personnel are responsible for general housekeeping, following a daily checklist to keep the shop clean, organized, and running efficiently

- The ideal candidate is equipped with intermediate computer skills, is mechanically inclined, and is confident using hand and power tools

- The Shop Assistant will assist with the fabrication of equipment and modules

- The candidate will be responsible for general labor activities, including but not limited to: heat shrinking cable, aircraft cabling of caps and pins, painting, inventory management and re-stocking, assisting shop personnel with tasks, cleaning and pressure washing equipment, etc.

- The Shop Assistant is responsible for opening and lockup procedures of the yard

- Special tasks or projects as assigned by other departments or teams, as needed

- Willingness to work 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week with overtime if needed.

Qualifications:

- Valid and current Class 5 Drivers License

- Forklift certifications preferred

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs

- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems preferred

- Intermediate computer skills

- Ability and willingness to work closely in a team environment
