Shipping Supervisor

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

- Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the shipping department

- Ensure that all orders are packaged and staged, accurately and on time

- Oversee the shipping team and inventory department to coordinate work schedules

- Determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods according to customer requirements

- Oversee accurate records of shipped and received products

- Maintain clean and effective shipping and staging areas ensuring safety guidelines are fulfilled

- Safety Sensitive Position

- Other duties as needed or required

Work Environment:

The primary work environment is the production floor. Secondary work environment is the office.

- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift

- Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns

- While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role

- Minimum of 5 years leadership role - Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Ability to work in fast paced environment

- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software

- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work with EXCELLENT customer service

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols
