Job Title: Shipping Associate Location: Telford, TN Reports To: Shipping Supervisor / Warehouse Manager
Position Summary:
The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all shipments meet company quality standards and delivery deadlines. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting customer satisfaction.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Operate shipping software and systems to generate labels, packing slips, and tracking information.
- Verify accuracy of order contents and documentation prior to shipment.
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Load shipments onto trucks or pallets, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet shipping schedules and productivity goals.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to [50 lbs] on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
