Position Purpose:
Plan, organize and coordinate shipments in compliance with customer shipping instructions and monthly shipping objectives. Assist operations as necessary in the collection, dissemination and review of production information.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Prepare necessary paperwork to accompany shipments and provide accurate documentation of shipments.
2. Maintain records of daily shipping, finished goods; casting returns, incoming/outgoing machining and export papers to maintain the accuracy of inventory.
3. Interface daily with pertinent staff to keep abreast of new developments and changes affecting the shipping schedule.
4. Communicate with shipping regarding schedules, pickups and service.
5. Coordinate intercompany transfers with the other ME Elecmetal facilities.
6. Maintain and adhere to ISO standards, including but not limited to, the Quality Policy Statement as well as the Quality Control Procedures Manual.
7. Assist operations and maintenance as necessary in the collection and entry of data.
8. Monitor front gate traffic.
Job Requirements
•3-5 Years of related experience will be considered as substitute to degree.
•Proficient computer and data entry skills (SAP strongly preferred)
•Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point).
•Solid working knowledge of and experience in shipping procedures, transportation methods and required recordkeeping practices.
•Well-developed organizational and communication skills.
•Knowledge of inventory and an understanding of inventory control procedures.
