The Logistics Coordinator will be a full-time employee and report to Dimension’s Procurement Manager.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that goods are moved efficiently and accurately. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organized, self-driven, collaborative, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, detailed-oriented, and sensitive to timeliness of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•

Coordination of equipment deliveries to project sites and warehouses.

•

Create and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions.

•

Requesting and confirming delivery dates with project managers.

•

Weekly meetings with our warehouses and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) to monitor progress on deliveries, plan deliveries, monitor inventory and provide feedback on invoices.

•

Ensuring Dimension’s equipment inventory remains current and accurate by verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

•

Prepare documents such as Purchase Orders and packing lists to route materials.

•

Record shipment data such as origin, destination, rates.

•

Review warehouse’s invoices for pallet counts, rates, and cost allocations by project.

•

Identifying and securing storage space for upcoming equipment.

•

Review suppliers’ contracts along with the Legal team.

•

Providing support in emergencies like sending spares or additional equipment if original equipment is damaged

•

Providing Monthly Inventory to the Accounting team

•

Supporting Procurement by following up with suppliers and updating files.

This role requires attention to detail, flexibility, comfort with complexity and uncertainty, and a desire to learn new things.

At a minimum, the Logistics Coordinator

must have all the following requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

•

Able to work in a diverse team environment

•

At least one year of experience in a shipping warehouse or shipping logistics

•

Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.

•

Customer service skills

•

Analytical and problem-solving skills

•

Attention to detail

•

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Location

This role is located in Dimension’s Atlanta headquarters. Our team is in the office on Mondays-Thursdays and works remotely on Fridays. The position may require occasional travel.
