Sheet Metal Fabricator / Laser Operator – Day Shift

ELO Engineering is a growing contract manufacturer of metal components for successful manufacturing companies in aerospace, transportation, energy, and electronics industries. Our ISO certified precision metal fabrication capabilities include laser cutting, punching, welding, machining, painting and assembly. Our office and manufacturing facility is located in Fridley, MN.

We are searching for an experienced Metal Fabricator / Laser Operator - Day Shift. While laser operation will be this individual’s primary responsibility, he/she will also perform other work in our “middle shop” including assembly and spot welding. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will be looking for a solid company where he/she can establish long-term employment that offers growth and opportunity.

Responsibilities:

· Sheet Metal Laser Operation

· PEM hardware insertion and assembly of fabricated parts

· Spot Welding

· Inspect work, making necessary notations on work routers.

Desired Qualifications:

· Basic knowledge of work order routers (travelers).

· Experience in metal fabrication with laser operation preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Good verbal and written communications skills.
