Service Operator I (Onsite: Canonsburg, PA)

The Service Operator I under direct supervision, rigs-up and rigs-down of service equipment, learns to complete documents, reports, and forms in support of the service performed.

- Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour, depending on experience.

- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.

- Shift Details: 12.5 + hr shift| 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

- Additional Information: Per Diem: $25/day, Mileage: $.70 Mile capped at 500 miles one direction, Housing provided: either onsite or hotel

Responsibilities:

- Conduct training on the operation of equipment, including shale shakers, screen changes, centrifuges, cuttings handling/slurrification systems, and vacuum/pressure washing systems.

- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.

- Actively participate in the quality improvement process and promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Minimum of six months experience is required.

- Drivers License and Safeland certifications are required.

- Commitment to working demanding, extended shifts (12+ hours per day).

- Completion of specific Baroid training is preferred.

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and possess basic reading comprehension and writing skills.

- Basic computer skills are preferred for data entry and documentation.

- Demonstrated proficiency with basic hand tools.

- Understanding of safety procedures and awareness.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.

- Willingness to learn and quickly retain technical knowledge.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills (including basic reading comprehension).
