Field Operator / Service Representative

Marmon Industrial Water designs and manufacturers water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions, under the brand names Graver Water Systems and Ecodyne. Our technologies included raw water pretreatment, filtration, ion exchange, demineralization, degasification, hot lime softening, boiler make-up, condensate polishing, wastewater treatment, cooling, and oil/water separation for markets such as petrochemical/chemical, power generation and heavy industrial plants.

As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be operating and servicing Marmon Industrial Water equipment. You will be working with (UF) Ultrafiltration, (RO) Reverse Osmosis, (EDI) Electro deionization, and (HMI) Human Machine Interface. To be successful in this role you must establish complete ownership of the equipment. This position is based in Beaumont, TX.

Overall Responsibilities:

- Operate and control equipment to achieve desired performance.

- Conduct inspection of equipment as needed.

- Conduct maintenance of equipment as needed.

- Various water sample testing: pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, turbidity, hardness, chlorine, conductivity.

- Conduct chemical cleans on equipment.

- Maintain records daily: pre job safety brief, daily service & job safety analysis.

- Carry out site risk assessments.

- Monitor equipment integrity daily.

- Communicate with client as required.

- Safety with regards to chemical handling.

- Modify / update standard operating procedures as needed.

- Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Post-secondary education with a technical focus (desired).

- Valid driver’s license.

- Flexible team player.

- Effective communication skills dealing with a variety of parties.

- Knowledge on pumps, motors, valves, air compressors, blowers, PVC & HDPE piping, electrical 24/110/240/480 volts.

- Safety conscious problem solver.

- Work schedule flexibility & provide on call 24 hours

- Must be willing to undergo background screening, drug testing and safety training as required to access customer sites.
