Service Coordinator

Energy Management Corporation (EMC), a trusted leader for over 40 years in industrial automation, motors, drives, and generators, is looking for an Industrial Service Coordinator to support our generator and electrical services team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and working in a technical environment. You'll be the key connection between customers, technicians, and internal teams-making sure the right people, parts, and information are in place to get the job done.

What You'll Do

- Schedule and dispatch service technicians based on skills, workload, and customer needs.

- Review diagrams and technical documentation to assist in planning jobs.

- Source, order, and track OEM and aftermarket parts to keep projects on schedule.

- Manage records, service orders, and preventative maintenance reports.

- Partner with managers, engineers, and sales to resolve service issues, follow up on quotes, and close out billing.

- Rotate on-call support for emergency service needs.

- Address escalated customer issues with professionalism and technical awareness.

What You Bring

- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, or parts support (ideally in an industrial, electrical, or mechanical setting).

- Familiarity with generator systems, electrical components, or mechanical equipment.

- Ability to read and understand service documentation or technical diagrams.

- Knowledge of OEM vs. aftermarket parts.

- Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.

- ERP or service management system experience preferred.

Extra Advantage:

- Hands-on experience with engines, generators, or industrial machinery.

- Background in an industrial service environment.

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and perform basic office tasks.
