GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for developing and publishing the Standard Operating Cycle schedule, prioritizing work requests, and working with various departments to ensure work is scheduled accordingly. Also, the Unit Coordinator is the primary liaison between Columbia Generating Station (CGS) and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). Ensure BPA work is on CGS’s schedule, communicate down power plans and major electrical system outages to minimize simultaneous grid work.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Work with plant organizations to determine work scope for upcoming workweeks.
2. Lead the effort in prioritizing work requests for CGS to ensure work is scheduled according to its priority.
3. Develop, maintain, and publish the Standard Operating Cycle schedule.
4. Act as CGS’s focal point for interaction with BPA.
5. Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least six years of experience in the nuclear power industry and a minimum of two years of supervisor/management experience in operations, maintenance, work management or engineering
OR an associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in the nuclear power industry and a minimum of two years of supervisor/management experience in operations, maintenance, work management or engineering
OR a high school diploma/GED and at least ten years of experience in the nuclear power industry and a minimum of two years of supervisor/management experience in operations, maintenance, work management or engineering
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
