Operations Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for managing relationships with external vendors, as well as vendor performance and costs, to ensure efficient and high-quality business operations. Key duties include vendor performance monitoring, facilitating communication between internal teams and external partners, while also resolving issues and ensuring compliance with company standards. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills to maintain productivity, streamline processes, and mitigate risks.

This position is hourly/non-exempt. Hours are Monday-Friday, designated shift. 40 hours minimum, overtime as needed.

Duties

- Maintain communications with the company's vendors to keep orders on track to meet shipment deadlines.

- Expedite and prioritize parts, materials, and services purchased from suppliers. This would be in an effort to bring the materials and services in-line and coordinated with the company job schedule and schedule changes as incurred.

- Work to negotiate and resolve all issues pertaining to supplier quality and delivery.

- Accurate recording of product shipped and received.

- Project management.

- Ability to establish priorities and work independently as well as within a team.

- Provide cross-functional support in other areas as needed such as shipping, purchasing, and quality.

Requirements

- Good communication and computer skills.

- Must understand and follow standard and site-specific safety practices as outlined in the company safety policy and company handbook.

- Must understand and adhere to all ISO processes and procedures.

- Experience in scheduling and expediting is preferred.

- Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.

- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

- General knowledge of quality standards and expectations.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
