Job Title: Senior Truck Upfitting & Hydraulic Systems Technician Location: Mount Gilead, OH Job Type: Full‑Time, Onsite Pay: $28 – $38 per hour DOE

Job Summary:

We are a busy vacuum tank fabrication and truck equipment shop looking for an experienced Senior Truck Upfitting & Hydraulic Systems Technician to join our team. You’ll work hands‑on modifying truck frames, installing hydraulics and PTOs, relocating axles, wiring electrical systems, and mounting vacuum tanks. This is a skill‑based role — we want someone who takes pride in quality work and can complete builds from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

- Install hydraulic systems, hoses, pumps, valves, and controls

- Install PTO units and auxiliary systems on truck drivetrains

- Shorten and extend truck frames safely to spec

- Mount vacuum tanks and secure to chassis

- Wire 12V systems for lights, controls, and accessories

- Read and interpret build orders, schematics, and drawings

- Perform structural welding and basic fabrication

- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

- Maintain a clean, safe work area

Qualifications:

- 5+ years experience in truck upfitting, fabrication, or heavy equipment work

- Strong hydraulic and PTO knowledge

- Proven frame modification and welding skills

- 12V electrical wiring experience

- Ability to read schematics and blueprints

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑oriented
