JOB DESCRIPTION
Select Water Solutions is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, field locations, and remote operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company’s network environment while supporting business-critical operations throughout Select’s footprint.
The Senior Network Engineer will serve as a technical leader within the IT Infrastructure team, providing expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, security best practices, and system optimization. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to support operational technology, cloud connectivity, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues affecting availability, latency, or security.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware across corporate and remote operational locations.
- Support connectivity for field operations, including remote sites, mobile equipment, and operational technology systems.
- Lead network infrastructure projects including upgrades, expansions, and new site deployments.
- Maintain and improve network security posture through firewall management, segmentation, monitoring, and compliance with company policies.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide advanced technical support for escalated incidents.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and systems teams to support hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Support disaster recovery planning and ensure network resilience across business operations.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior IT staff and other team members.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure support.
- Strong experience with enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience supporting multi-site and remote operational environments.
- Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and secure architecture design.
- Experience with cloud networking environments such as Azure or AWS preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Exposures
- This position works inside a climate-controlled environment a majority of the time. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job. Some travel will be required.
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
