The Senior Manager, Real Estate & Facilities Operations is a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for transforming, modernizing, and scaling the organization’s real estate and facilities operations to support a growing, dynamic enterprise. This role owns the end‑to‑end performance of the company’s facilities portfolio—ensuring spaces are safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with business needs—while evolving processes, systems, and teams to operate at a higher level of maturity.
This leader will bring structure, clarity, and accountability to facilities operations, driving consistent standards across locations and leading complex initiatives including new space setup, office expansions, relocations, consolidations, and decommissioning activities. Success in this role requires strong cross‑functional leadership, the ability to align stakeholders and scope across teams, and a proven track record of delivering results in fast‑growing environments.
As a people leader, this role is accountable for building, developing, and leading a high‑performing facilities and planning team. The Senior Manager will establish clear roles, expectations, and operating rhythms, while mentoring team members and strengthening organizational capability to support future growth. Sustainability, safety, and continuous improvement are core expectations, with close partnership across Legal, HR, IT, EHS, Finance, Strategy & Planning, Global Sourcing, and external partners.
Oversee day‑to‑day real estate operations across all company facilities.
Manage lease administration, including abstracts, critical dates, rent schedules, compliance requirements, and reporting.
Partner with Legal and external brokers to review, negotiate, and execute leases, acquisition agreements, amendments, renewals, terminations, and early buyouts.
Ensure accuracy, governance, and documentation of all real estate–related data and records.
Ensure all facilities are fully operational, safe, and aligned with business needs.
Conduct and document routine facility inspections; evaluate completed work performed by vendors and contractors.
Recommend and implement maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design improvements.
Communicate workplace safety practices and partner with EHS to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
Coordinate building services and operational logistics, including mail and delivery services where applicable.
Capital Projects, Space Planning & Growth Enablement
Lead capital projects, special initiatives, and space planning efforts to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Own end‑to‑end delivery of new space setup, office expansions, relocations, consolidations, and decommissioning activities.
Optimize office layouts and space utilization based on headcount forecasts, business strategy, and workforce needs.
Partner closely with Strategy & Planning, Transaction Management, HR, and IT to ensure seamless execution of workplace initiatives.
Develop and manage the facilities and real estate operating budget.
Create, review, and approve purchase orders and invoices in alignment with budgetary controls.
Lead vendor selection, contracting, and performance management for facility services and construction projects.
Partner with Global Sourcing to drive competitive pricing, service quality, and vendor accountability.
Advance sustainability, energy management, and environmental initiatives across the facilities portfolio in partnership with EHS.
Support the creation of resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible workplaces.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and internal governance requirements.
Directly manage and develop the Facilities Management Supervisor and Senior Planner.
Build and scale a high‑performing facilities organization capable of supporting a growing enterprise.
Establish clear roles, performance expectations, development plans, and accountability mechanisms.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Serve as the enterprise point of accountability for facilities and workplace operations.
Collaborate across Legal, HR, IT, Finance, EHS, Strategy & Planning, and business leaders to align priorities, scope, and execution.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders on risks, opportunities, and performance.

- College degree preferred (i.e., corporate real estate, business management, legal/paralegal, etc.) or 5+ years of related experience managing a large and complex corporate real estate portfolio.
