Senior Line Locating Technician

Quest Line Locators is in search of a Experienced Line Locator to join their team.

Quest has been servicing the Southeast Saskatchewan oilfield area for the past 14 years and is looking to expand our team with another Veteran Line Locator to help train upcoming novice locators and provide locates in some of the more congested work areas that come with the industry

Some qualifications that we are looking for:

-Several years experience in conducting Inductive Sweeps with Fuji Pipeline Locators

-Several years experience performing sweeps and locates in highly congested work areas

-Thorough knowledge of direct connection techniques and proper grounding procedures

-Thorough knowledge of different facility mapping techniques to establish work area and all underground facilities running through customers work area

-Must have general knowledge of basic oilfield work procedures and safety hazards that come with active work sites

Wage:

Line Locators can range from $28/hr to $47/hr (Wage to be negotiated based on experience)

Location:

Locator to service the Estevan/ South East Sask area

Preferably being to local to Estevan but willing to accommodate remote work for the right candidate
