Senior Financial Analyst

Kinect Solar is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical part in shaping financial insights that drive business decisions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and transparency in forecasting and reporting. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates based in Austin, TX.

# Responsibilities:

Forecasting & Analysis

- Own and maintain monthly forecast models for revenue, gross margin, OPEX, and EBITDA.

- Work cross-functionally with departments throughout Kinect Solar to create and understand their forecasts including pipeline analysis.

- Create and track KPIs to monitor business health, identify risks, and recommend actionable solutions.

- Build logistics models to accurately track existing projects, forecast future revenue and profitability, and provide key metrics for the business.

- Analyze deal structures and payment schedules to assess risk and maximize profitability.

- Work with Sales to build pricing and margin models.

- Forecast and monitor cash flow to anticipate future needs.

Reporting

- Prepare monthly financial reports including KPIs, dashboards, and variance analysis to support executive decision making.

- Collaborate with leaders throughout the company to build customized reports that track relevant data and inform strategic initiatives.

# Qualifications:

- 5-8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analytics. Experience in products, logistics, or energy/renewables is a plus.

- BA and/or MBA in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.

- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, scenario analysis, handling large amounts of data).

- Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.

- Executive-ready communication skills: ability to craft clear narrative, present visual analytics, and drive cross-functional alignment.
