Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with a focus on cost management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

•

Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-efficient solutions

•

Manage budgeting processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations such as SOX

•

Perform account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records

•

Oversee general ledger accounting activities

•

Utilize Quicken or similar software for financial reporting and analysis

•

Conduct cash flow analysis to optimize financial performance

•

Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy

•

Manage accounts payable functions efficiently

Skills

•

Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices

•

Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis

•

Experience with account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance

•

Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements

•

Ability to conduct cash flow analysis effectively

•

Skilled in payroll processing and accounts payable management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
