Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting by managing key accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings. The Senior Accountant also plays a vital role in budgeting, compliance, tax support, and process improvements, while providing mentorship to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
•Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
•Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
•Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
•Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
•Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
•Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits.
Reporting & Analysis
•Analyze financial information and prepare reports to summarize financial status.
•Provide financial insights to support decision-making and process improvements.
Leadership & Support
•Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
•Assist in the implementation of new systems, processes, and accounting procedures.
•Support tax preparation and ensure timely filings (corporate, payroll, sales tax, etc.).
Qualifications
Education & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
•4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
•Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles.
•Proficient in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

Compensation
· Annual $70,000 to $85,000
· Eligible for Full benefits per plan designs and costs. Health, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, STD, 401(k)
· Eligible for Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays per schedule
