We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Incentive Pay to join our payroll team. This position will report to our Director, Payroll, and will be located in Arlington, VA.
The Senior Analyst, Incentive Pay role will be primarily responsible for the accurate and timely processing of stock compensation payments and the management of all forms of variable compensation, including deferred bonuses, for a publicly traded company. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in payroll processing and have experience working with ADP Workforce Now, Workday and Equity Management Software. This position requires the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
•Process stock-based compensation payments, in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
•Manage and track all forms of variable compensation, including bonuses, deferred bonuses, and other incentive-based pay components.
•Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal departments to ensure proper taxation, withholding, and reporting of equity and variable compensation.
•Perform regular audits and reconciliations of equity and bonus-related payroll transactions to ensure accuracy.
•Monitor payroll tax implications related to domestic and international stock transactions and deferred compensation.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including year-end reporting (e.g., W-2, 3921/3922 forms).
•Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to payroll, stock compensation, and bonuses.
•Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
•Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll and compensation accuracy and efficiency.
•Ensure process documentation, standard operating procedures, and documents are maintained and current at all times.
•Participate in cross functional initiatives and process improvement efforts during Workday and OSV implementation.
•Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
•Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
•3+ years of payroll or compensation experience, with a strong focus on stock and variable compensation processing.
•Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, Workday and Equity Management Software is required.
•Knowledge of equity compensation plans, deferred compensation, and related tax implications.
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•Understanding of global payroll tax regulations related to equity and deferred compensation.
