HR Analyst - Total Rewards

Annual salary: $ 72,500.00 - 91,600.00
Position Highlights
Reporting to the Manager, Benefits & Pension, this position will provide support for all benefit programs, total rewards
communications activities, as well as disability administration, attendance management, and compensation programs as
required.
What you'll do
•Support the annual benefits re-enrolment process and delivery of benefit and total reward learning sessions and
presentations
•Support regular audits of HRIS data and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and completeness with the 3rd party
benefits administrator
•Liaise with 3rd party benefits administrator and benefit plan provider to investigate and resolve coverage and claim issues
•Support leave of absence processes
•Conduct routine audits of various benefit programs and resolve any issues
•Prepare and provide various reports and analysis on benefits programs
•Prepare and provide monthly sick leave reports for Attendance Support Program and prepare calendars for all program
referrals
•Support ongoing total rewards communication activities, including updates to intranet
•Support with relevant benefit and compensation market surveys and external benchmarking processes
•Support long term disability and attendance support administration
•Prepare and compile quarterly, annual and ad-hoc data requests
•Mapping of current processes/knowledge base documentation and continuous improvements
•Other duties and projects as assigned
What you bring
•Undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
•Relevant Professional Designation in benefits or compensation considered an asset - CEBS, CCP, CPHR
•Minimum 2 years of HR experience
•Understanding of benefits and compensation programs, principles and practices an asset
•Understanding of related legislative rules and regulations (e.g., Employment Standards)
•Knowledge of payroll principles related to benefits administration an asset
•Experience in using benefit administration system, HRIS system or related technology an asset
•Experience analyzing market data in supporting benefit and compensation programs an asset
Other desired skills:
•Strong organizational, process orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior attention to detail and
accuracy
•Strong proficiency with Microsoft office products, including Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
•Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal), able to communicate effectively with all levels and
build strong working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external)
•Ability to maintain a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
•Self-motivated and proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
•Very strong customer service orientation
•Sound planning, prioritization, and execution skills
