About The Opportunity
The SAP Business Analyst – Finance acts as the key liaison between Finance stakeholders and SAP technical teams. This role analyzes finance‑related business processes, gathers requirements, and ensures that SAP FI/CO solutions (including S/4HANA) are designed, configured, and optimized to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

You are an experienced SAP FI/CO professional (S/4HANA preferred) with a strong understanding of financial processes including GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, cost accounting, and internal orders. You confidently partner with Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into practical SAP configurations, and support testing, reporting, and system enhancements. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, with strong communication skills and the ability to bridge Finance and technical teams effectively. Bilingual (French/English) preferred.
Position Responsibilities, Accountabilities And Job Duties
- Partner with Finance teams (Accounting, AP/AR, Treasury, Controlling) to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
- Translate finance business requirements into SAP FI/CO configurations, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Facilitate workshops to review current-state financial processes (e.g., month-end close, fixed assets, cost center accounting).
- Document workflows, functional specifications, and recommended solutions.
- Configure SAP and update master data to support business needs.
- Participate and support SAP Finance implementation projects, enhancements, and rollouts.
- Develop and execute finance-specific test scripts, support user acceptance testing.
- Follow change management and transport procedures.
- Develop test plans and execute finance integration testing.
- Create financial user guides and deliver training to end users.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Troubleshoot FI/CO-related issues and coordinate with internal SAP support and external partners.
- Assist users with SAP reporting tools, queries, and data extraction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
- Minimum 5 years as an SAP FI/CO Business Analyst (S/4HANA preferred).
- Strong understanding of financial processes: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, cost accounting, internal orders.
- Experience with SAP Fiori financial applications and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP BW/BI).
- Experience with testing, documentation, and configuration.
- Experience with SAP business process analysis and modelling.
- Bilingual (French & English) preferred.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is beneficial.
