The SAP Analyst ensures all equipment is serviced and maintained. This position ensures rig data is gathered, correctly entered, and monitored in a computer-based Maintenance Management System (MMS).
- Review, validate, and process master data change requests (equipment, functional locations, materials, BOMs, task lists, maintenance plans, work centers, vendor data)
- Responsible for tracking the repair of all rig equipment and components.
- Ensures collaboration with HSE Department and Management in Administrative jobs for Audits at rigs are completed.
- Facilitates the development and implementation specific plans based on each rig’s situation,
- Coordinate and interface with regional and corporate management and functional support groups.
- Initiates all purchase orders for service work.
- Coordinates with IT department for implementation of MMS-planned maintenance software.
- Monitors planned maintenance database integrity at all times.
- Provides SAP Program training to personnel, including Operations Manager, Area/Field Superintendents, and at the rig site.
- Provides technical support for maintenance system questions and problems; gives advice and/or locates information to help solve rig site concerns.
- Follows up and tracks completion of scheduled maintenance on all rigs.
- Creates and furnishes maintenance reports from MMS for management.
- Monitors changes in rig equipment inventories through planned maintenance data input, audits checks, and inputs from the field.
- Tracks Non-Destructive Testing and Major Maintenance to be performed on Rig Skids.
- Reviews and updates the documentation of the rig equipment and the inspection and repair reports for third party work performed and ensure document control is supplied with reports for storage.
- Assists rig personnel in maintaining document control at rig sites to help facilitate smooth internal and external audits.
- Reviews and updates equipment tags for the equipment, as well as installs tags for the new tagging procedures. This will require interfaces with client supply chain group.
- Reviews and tags new equipment in the warehouse and controls when installed at rigs.
- Uses computer/research skills to assist in client presentations which involve our MMS systems for Client presentations involving maintenance and equipment reliability or similar subjects.
- Coordinates oil sampling and results, and ensures recommendations are communicated to rigs.
