Sales & Office Coordinator (Steel Fabrication)

About us

We’re a growing, employee-owned steel fabrication shop in Pueblo West serving Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and the Front Range. We handle structural and custom fab work and are building long-term relationships with GCs, builders, manufacturers, and local businesses.

The role

You’ll drive new business and keep our small office running smoothly. On busier sales days, you’re prospecting, following up quotes, and visiting customers. On quieter days, you’ll help with light office coordination (phones, scheduling, filing, vendor calls).

What you’ll do

- Build and manage a pipeline of fabrication work (structural, misc metals, custom jobs)

- Prospect: call/email local GCs, builders, manufacturers, and facilities; attend local events

- Qualify opportunities, coordinate site visits, gather drawings/specs, and log notes in CRM

- Work with the shop on estimates; deliver quotes; follow up to close deals

- Maintain simple CRM/lead tracker and weekly reports (bids, closes, pipeline)

- Assist with reception & admin: answer calls, schedule, intake RFQs, basic purchasing follow-ups

- Coordinate with production on material lead times, change orders, and job kickoffs

- Represent the brand professionally on visits and at the shop

You’ll be great at this if you have

- Experience selling to construction/industrial clients (steel, metals, fabrication, or similar)

- Comfortable reading drawings/blueprints at a basic level and talking through fabrication scope

- Strong follow-through, organized notes, and steady cadence on outreach

- Clean driving record and reliable transportation for local travel (mileage reimbursed)

- (Nice to have) Bilingual English/Spanish for local client communication

Schedule

Full-time, on-site in Pueblo West. Local travel for customer visits and job walks.

Compensation

Pay depends on experience and existing relationships/book of business. We offer flexible plans (base + commission or high-commission) and will tailor OTE to your background. Mileage and approved industry events reimbursed.
