Mpower Direct (MPD) is the dynamic field sales arm of Mpower Energy and Mpower Solar, headquartered in Brooklyn, NY. As a leading provider of solar and clean energy solutions, MPD combines personalized, high-impact field sales with a strong commitment to sustainability and customer service. With four active NYC-based offices, eight outside NYC, and expansion into new states underway, we are scaling our team and our impact.
The Role
We're looking for an energetic, people-driven, creative, and organized Sales Enablement Specialist to serve as the bridge between our Marketing Team, Inside Sales Teams, and Field Sales Offices. You will play a strategic role in enabling the recruitment, training, and retention of our inside and field sales talent—directly impacting our company culture, performance, and revenue.
This is a full-time office role based out of Mpower Direct’s Brooklyn, NY office. This position will require regular travel to our NYC sales offices (Queens, Bronx, Staten Island) as well as occasional trips to other offices around the country and occasional company events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Training
•Collaborate with Regional and Office Sales Managers, Sales Directors, and C-Suite to develop and deliver high-impact sales training programs
•Travel regularly to field offices to run in-person training sessions and workshops
•Empower a healthy competition culture within offices to boost morale including but not limited to: creative contests and giveaways implemented throughout each office
•Draft and refine sales scripts, sequences, and cadences for inside and field sales teams
•Convert raw training content into digestible and interesting training decks and materials
•Create and manage sales gifting strategy
Marketing & Content Liaison
•Act as the point of contact between the marketing, inside sales (SDRs, project managers, and account managers), and field sales teams
•Project manage content development to support lead generation, recruitment, and sales efforts before, during, and after the sale, including but not limited to: posters, pamphlets, signage, decks, newsletters or magazines, Yodeck digital signage, and other field and office collateral.
•Build, implement, and monitor rep referral strategy via social networks
•Source and share sales success stories, rep spotlights, and field insights to fuel internal and external campaigns
Social Media & Employer Branding
•Own and manage all MPD social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
•Curate compelling content from field events, office life, and rep experiences to elevate MPD’s brand
•Attend MPD events and activations to gather photos, videos, testimonials, etc.
Recruitment & Retention Strategy
•Partner with recruiters to create an optimized recruitment funnel by improving messaging, streamlining the candidate experience, and strengthening onboarding
•Develop and execute MPD’s retention strategy, including but not limited to recognition programs, career pathing, and culture initiatives
•Gather and analyze field feedback and conduct exit interviews to refine recruitment and retention efforts
Qualifications
•2+ years of experience in sales enablement, marketing coordination, field sales operations, or other related field
•Background in solar, clean energy, or fast-paced field sales preferred
•Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
•Strong copywriting and communication skills (writing samples may be requested)
•Experience with content creation, social media management, and sales tech tools (e.g., CRMs, sales engagement platforms)
•· Comfortable traveling locally 2–3 times per week between NYC offices, and to other offices around the country as well as occasional after hours events
