Position Summary

The Inside Sale Support role is responsible for processing parts orders received from the outside sales team, customer phone inquiries, and walk-in traffic. This position plays a key role in supporting parts operations through vendor coordination, accurate order entry.

PARTS OPERATION

•

Respond professionally and promptly to incoming requests from customers and outside sales team

•

Develop, communicate, manage and monitor effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction

•

Maintain an accurate inventory control system, including ongoing and annual physical effective parts inventory control system that includes a continuous and annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures

•

Submit all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit

•

Generate purchase orders for drop shipments, rush and special orders into the ERP system

•

Maintain retail shop area to include restocking shelves and modifying layout in collaboration with marketing department for optimal product visibility

SALES SUPPORT

•

Support the outside sales team with order fulfillment and quoting

•

Process and expedite customer parts and sales orders

•

Create, maintain and verify parts quotes, sales and service orders

•

Build and maintain strong vendor and manufacturer relationships

•

Oversee freight logistics with equipment delivery for service and sales

•

Capture and maintain accurate data in the ERP system

•

Proactively communicate issues or opportunities to the outside sales team

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent

•

Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite preferred)

•

Prior experience in a parts department or similar environment
